October
The newest version of the Razer Mamba is another of 2015's products that errs on the side of ridiculous. After all, it launched for a staggering £135. However, it really is one of the nicest mice we've ever used – comfortable like few others and absolutely bursting with features. Its 16,000 DPI sensor is presently unmatched, and it also offers the unique Adjustable Click Force feature, allowing you to physically adjust the actuation force of the main clickers with little more than the turn of a tool. It's also wireless, and has full support for Razer's Chroma RGB lighting system. Few people need a mouse of this calibre, but those that do get it won't be disappointed.
October brought a few mini-ITX Z170 motherboards to our desks, but honestly we weren't massively impressed by what we saw. If there's a standout motherboard from this month, it absolutely has to be this Titanium Edition one from MSI. Just look at it! The titanium coloured PCB is simply stunning, and also a refreshing and bold move away from the sea of red and black lookalikes that currently dominate the motherboard landscape. Looks aren't everything this board has going for it either, as it delivers on performance and features too.
